Yahoo Stores Launched As Reboot Of Its E-Commerce Platform

By Arees Furqan

Entrepreneurs who are interested in establishing their presence online for their small business can do so with ease with Yahoo Stores. Yahoo relaunched its E-Commerce platform with an updated interface to help business owners easily sell their products and/or services through the Internet. With the ability to connect through social media, search engines, email, and other avenues on the Internet this creates an opportunity for business owners to cement themselves online in a short amount of time.

The platform is designed for small business owners who are looking to set up their e-commerce store and get sales generated. Yahoo becomes the main facilitator of the products and makes sure everything goes off as required.

Imagine being able to create an online store in the morning and making your first sale in the afternoon. That is essentially what Yahoo Stores brings to the table for small business owners. The store allows credit card payment options from the major credit card companies to allow it to become easier for business owners to make sales. Previously, it was difficult for small business owners to create an online website or store that could easily sell their times, but that has changed thanks to Yahoo Stores.

It is a very simple set up that should produce continuous results for those who want to start selling products, but don't know a place that is secure enough. Yahoo has quite an extensive reach in the marketplace and should be able to garner a lot of interest.

A new system for collecting payments has also been incorporated into the system, one that is compliant with PCI (payment card industry)payment processing. The entire system is very seamless, as a new merchant can be up and running in as little as two minutes, with addition of products and categories as easy as opening an email in the structure.

Yahoo is catering to small business owners with a new platform, Yahoo Stores. Yahoo has offered an e-commerce platform to users for a while but the platform has been completed rebooted and renamed Yahoo Stores. Head of Yahoo's small business department Amit Kumar recognized the importance of an online store for retailers. However, getting started is usually the hardest part of running an online store. The truth is that most business owners simply do not have the skills or the time necessary to creating a functional and reliable online store.
