How Proper Church Outreach Can Lead To Growth

By Tammie Caldwell

People will never know how good you feel in your walk with Jesus if you do not share with them. Those that have been called out of darkness into spiritual light should make it their responsibility to guide their neighbors into the same light. It makes no sense keeping the word to yourself yet some people labored for you to get the word. Let us see how proper church outreach can lead to growth.

Remember we also saved not by our works by the faith that we profess in Christ Jesus. We live at a time that people and churches are self centered, and they have drawn the line between themselves in the society. It is in the mission of Christ that he preached to every person and made an impact in his or her life.

With the internet, we can reach millions to even to areas that would traditionally become inaccessible. We also need to realize that there are areas that are still hostile to the word of God and the only way is through live streaming and also putting our sermons on blog posts.

A Christian establishment that desires to grow and reach different parts of their locality has no excuse because there are many avenues that they can use. If you are a pastor, you can train your members of the new ways to do outreach. You first need to look at the social gatherings that people like and use the same activities to organize a church function.

We should always put it at the back of our minds that there are people that met the cost of our salvation. We should then come out of the comfort zone and share the word. The churches that have adopted the right strategies in outreach have grown tremendously, and they have also been able to impart the life of other people. The reason that the early church was vibrant is because they understood the real meaning of the great commission.

It is a habit that is making some Christians to live in their confines, and they tend to believe that way they will have achieved their mission. If you see the life that Christ used to live you will see that he walked and dinner with people that others thought were outcast in the society.

It does not help to judge other people based on the faith we profess. Instead, we should labor to get to their level and tell them how they would benefit by coming to Christ. Others might have known the word previously, but the pressures of the world had chocked them, and they might have resorted to their former lives.

In the ministry of outreach, a person needs to forget about their status and visit all places the rich and the poor and share with them the love of Christ. A church that has a plan to transform lives in their time must make a habit of going to the people with evangelism. If we remain in our comfort zone, there is no way we can change the lives of other people.
