Need Of Backlinks In SEO

By Agustin Bernhard

Are you struggling to understand the importance of backlinks in SEO? Let me take you back a few years to when I was really struggling on-line. I had started my first blog and really had no clue what I was doing. More than that, I really struggled finding a good mentor and sticking with that person so that I could copy their success.

Have you ever felt like you are just swimming in a big ocean on-line? It's like you can see Face Book on the left somewhere in the distance and maybe video marketing ahead and blogging on the right. The problem is that you don't understand how any of them work and how you should focus on one thing and become an expert on it. It was after only about 2 months of focusing down on blogging that I had my first keyword on the first page of Google search results.

If you don't know what guest posting is, it is just writing an article and posting it on a blog or website that has more authority in Google than yours. This gives them a free article and you a free high quality backlink which will increase your authority in Google. This will end in more traffic and then leads and possibly sales depending on what you are doing or what you want.

So there are a few golden rules to follow when back linking. The first thing you want to do is find a good site. An example of a way to find a good site related to yours is to go to a forum and search for people who are willing to let you guest post. It is a win-win situation for both of you so it's still a popular idea. A forum such as warrior forum is good for this.

Should I pat myself on the back for that? Well yes for doing the work but it was my mentors that pointed me in the right direction. Before that I was trying to do everything and nothing worked.

Paid writing tools like this are just the start. There are a lot more things out there. If you want to run a successful business, you need to outsource some things to leverage your time. All good business people do that. It is something that you have to learn to do. You have to just put your ego in your pocket and realise that you don't know and can't do everything.
