Call To Action Button On Posts Is A New Facebook Feature

By Raza Isa

The new call to action button on Facebook lets you increase post click throughs. It's easy to add this excellent new feature to either your personal or business page on Facebook. Results of testing to date have shown a greatly increased number of click throughs for posts using this feature. This is very helpful when you announce an event, sale or coupon that requires action to activate. Use the call to action buttons for all your Facebook advertising needs.

One challenge to using the call to action buttons for advertising is that you have to install Facebook's Power Editor advertising tool. If you are very familiar with Facebook, you probably already know how to do that. You have to have Google Chrome to use the Power Editor. You can also find some instructions about Power Editor at the Google Chrome download site.

After you have Power Editor, you just check to be sure you can see your page in the sidebar on the left. The editor allows you to manage lots of pages, so you will probably see other pages listed there as well. At this point, you can go to the call to action button and create an advertisement or a post. Just follow these steps.

You can write your text, add a picture and create a link and headline then add your call to action. Choose whether the post is an ad or a simple post. You'll see the choice at the bottom. After you've finished composing your ad or post, you can preview it. Remember to publish it or set a time and date for it to be published. Click the green upload changes button at the top of the page.

The call to action button is not a huge change; however, it is very helpful in getting people to act on the things you post. All in all, it is a very nice improvement.
